I hired a coach who kept changing the schedule, showing up late, or just plain forgetting my sessions. I reached out to customer support for a complete refund, providing screenshot evidence, but they turned me down. It's just ridiculous.

I impulsively booked a session for 130 bucks an hour and immediately regretted it (not due to the coach, just felt it was too pricey). I reached out to support right away to explain what happened, and even though they didn’t have to do anything for me (it was my mistake), THEY ACTUALLY REFUNDED ME THROUGH PAYPAL (even though they usually just offer credits). I was so shocked that I contacted them again to express my gratitude and let them know I’d be leaving a positive review here, and they were thrilled enough to give me a 30% discount for my next visit. My heart was full. I’ll definitely be back, maybe not at 130 bucks an hour, but I’ll be back for sure. TRULY RELIABLE AND EFFECTIVE.

I was feeling pretty frustrated because the coach changed the schedule and I missed my time slot, which cost me both time and cash. After violating the metafy terms and conditions, the coach didn’t respond to my messages, since we didn’t reschedule through the website; on the bright side, Metafy has fantastic customer support.

They reached out to me and promised a refund, plus they’re working on adding a refund feature and better scheduling options in the portal. I was really impressed with this service.

I looked into Metafy and found Akariss listed as a coach for Fire Emblem Heroes. This guy is pretty notorious in the Fire Emblem Heroes community for being elitist and bigoted right from the start.

On his profile, he boasts about having "Perfect Arena Crown and Aether Raids Gold Thrones" as achievements. But honestly, this so-called "achievement" just shows how long someone has been playing and how much they tried to queue late to avoid tougher players in a mobile game that doesn’t really offer any glory or cash rewards. Plus, Akariss lost an arena crown months ago, yet he still claims to have a flawless record on both his Twitch and Metafy pages.

Another claim he makes is being in the "Top 50 2022," which is at best misleading and at worst a total fabrication. This top 50 doesn’t clarify which game mode it refers to, and there’s no annual competition in FEH anyway. Most rankings are actually weekly.

I can’t speak for Metafy’s other coaches or games, but judging by my experience with this one, their vetting process seems to be really lacking if they let someone like him slip through.

I scheduled a coaching session, but they took ages to reply. I reached out to the coach about three times, and still no answer. I requested a refund, but I’m still waiting to see that money back.

This is a fantastic shopping experience where the team is really involved with its customers: there are always updates to the site, frequent deals, and the interface is quite user-friendly— nearly always a seamless experience on metafy. If things go sideways, the support crew responds in just a few minutes and is generally very open to finding a fix.

As for the coaching, I haven’t had a single bad session, no matter who I’ve scheduled a lesson or replay review with, whether it’s m2k, dabuz, esam, or rivers3k. They’re all incredibly knowledgeable and bring a unique viewpoint on what you can work on and the best ways to tackle it.
